Our commitment

We are committed to making 12minutesaday.com accessible to people with disabilities. That includes people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, voice control, or other assistive technologies.

Our goal is to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA WCAG 2.1 AA standards across the site.

What we have done

• Used clear, plain-language headings so content is easy to scan and navigate
• Made sure pages can be navigated using a keyboard alone
• Added descriptive alt text to images for screen reader users
• Used color contrast that meets WCAG AA minimums for body text and headings
• Avoided content that flashes or strobes rapidly
• Kept the site simple and free of unnecessary clutter
• Written all content in plain, straightforward language

Known limitations

We are a small operation and we continuously improve. Some older content or embedded third-party tools may not yet meet full accessibility standards. We work through these as we update the site.

Some content on this site is delivered through third-party platforms including Substack and Amazon. We do not control the accessibility of those platforms, but we encourage them to meet the same standards we hold ourselves to.
